[SMB 2 - Overworld]

the original game that this game was, was called Doki Doki Panic, it had the exact same soundtrack and bosses, only the characters were some kind of arab people and it was a family, not mario's gang, it was developed by nintendo for a japanese holiday, every year the japanese government chooses one group of people or organization to make the main attaraction for the Doki Doki holiday in japan, they chose nintendo in th 80's, and they made doki doki panic, but they decided a little later that it would make a good mario game, so they switched the characters with peach, luigi, mario, and toad, and renamed it super mario bros 2. so super mario bros 2 is almost a complete ripoff of another game, but since the game was only released in japan, and doki doki panic was only meant to be out for one year, or month, something like that, they decided to make it a mario game. and that's how we got super mario bros 2! i also liked the jazzy kind of vibe with your song, and the steel guitar made it great. good work

Well, I don't think that would classify Mario 2 as a "rip-off", considering both Mario 2 and Doki Doki Panic were made by Nintendo. Let's just say they Americanized Doki Doki and that's why Mario 2 seems way out of place.

ARRRRRRGGGGHHH!....... ahhhh......... i feel so.... happy. so at ease, serenity, and love flow through me, at last, for the first time in 8 years..... what's this? no. it's a mask. black as pitch. the exact shape of my face, but, it's distorted, demonic looking.... i remember. i had an exorsist. the demon took me as a child.... of only 8 years of age... i have not been free since... this song. this wonderful song.... has freed me. you are a miracle worker. this mask, it's cold, just holding it makes me anry, i can feel the demon inside, thank you for freein me. you have no earthly idea what an excorsist is like. you can see everything your doing, but you cannot control any part of you. your mind is filled with demonic imaes, constantly torturing you, your body is being burned by unholy flames on the inside, they do no physical damage, but it feels just like a fire. your soul is fused with the demon, it's a horrifc view, it looks like you from the back, but when it shows you it's face..... it's like you and the demon can't bond right, you have two distorted faces, both fusing together..... i don't want to get it back, to think i lasted 8 years in my shell of a body, and haven't gone insane..... i don't want this mask, no one should have to surffer through what i have ever again. the only way i freed myyself momentarily, i don't know how i did it.... i just did it. please, don't look for the mask. it will not come off once on, i can simply tell, the demon has adjusted, it will not come off if it hears this song..... it will never come off for as long as you live.... i am going to hid it now...... after listenin to this song one more ttime, i need to heal, feel happiness in my body once more.... i need to be in a place of comeplete serenity.

i was totally absorbed by this, the outside world ment nothing to me, i felt.... happy. truly happy. at peace. serenity filled me, it made me feel...... alive. and i find this right next to me. a mask. it's pitch black, and has the most intricate design. i feel unhappyness and sorrow from it. it is my evil... you have healed me. thank you.

mixed together with the greatest of us all

this song is brilliant, and i have an ear for greatness, rock, soft rock, even most of today's songs, i have always placed those far behind what i hear in these soft, delicate blances of orchestral, classical, and somewhat modern music, they are so very hard to find... but you know when you've found one.... it just soothes you, right down to the soul, or it can make you feel extreme sadness, it just does what most other sons can't, it touches not only our minds, but our emotions, the thought of regular music just appeals to sound, it does nothing to make you feel, and really feel, it's like humanity just uses smalln portions of it's senses, and feels only the tiniest emotions... this song, this song that fits into a group of so small of songs, it makes you feel those emotions, makes you feel the greatest love if your in love, the most thrill you'll ever experience, the greatest happiness, and for this song... the ultimate sorrow. it seems to me that there is only one or 2 of these songs for each of the major, and some uncommon, emotions. I feel also that these can push you so very far from your limits, so much farther, that it feels like we can do the impossible. my friends.. true music is magic, true emotions are magic, try to take in as much as you can.

Some of the world's most beautiful is the simplest. That is why I love film music. It doesn't have to be complex as long as it engages the listener and creates an emotional response. With film/game music, I can pour out a lot of raw emotion without worrying too much about formalities. It may be background music and not demand great attention, but that is fine. It's wonderful.

Thanks for leaving the incredibly kind review. In much the way that you described, music moves me. It causes me to strive for my best. Other times, it moves me to tears or brings an overwhelming sense of joy and peace. I believe that music is God's universal language. :)
